These boots are available in the standard black (55340Z) and wheat (55330Z) coloured leather, and also the new stone (55350Z) colour leather which is unique to this low-cut style of boot.
The 55350Z boot has a low-cut height of 130mm (this was previously 150mm in standard-cut boots) and has a cut away and cushion support at the back of the boot which makes it sensationally comfortable on the heel. Whilst it is a new style of low-cut boot, they all still have the customary features that we’ve come to expect from the AT55 Series range.
The rubber outer-sole on the boot is heat-resistant up to approximately 300 degrees celsius, which is great for standing in hot sparks or working on hot bitumen. It’s also resistant to corrosive chemicals, oil and acid and is anti-static, making it an ideal work boot for working in the petroleum industry, chemical manufacturing, the electronics industry, or where there are combustible particles in the air.
Like all other boots in the AT55 series range, the 55350Z boot comes with a scuff cap on the front and is stitched together using Kevlar material which is high-heat and corrosive resistant. The leather is still high-grade, water-resistant and triple stitched in high-stress zones. This makes the 55350Z an incredibly durable boot capable of surviving through the toughest of working conditions.
The inner-sole of the 55350Z boot is designed for maximum comfort, which is why it’s been designed with a Nanolite Footbed, which has raised lumps all over the innersole. These bumps are designed to provide a massaging effect on the foot as you walk which promotes healthy blood flow in the foot. It’s also lined with an antimicrobial liner which wicks moisture away from the foot and works well to eliminate foot odour.
Not everyone prefers having high-cut ankle boots, so when you need something a little lower and lighter but with all the same great safety features you can depend on these low-cut boots that are now available in the 55 Series All-Terrain range.
