What We Look For In A Franchisee

Our goal is to build the strongest possible national network and a key component of that is choosing the right people.

SafetyQuip franchisees come from all walks of life and most of them did NOT come from a safety industry background. While safety industry experience would certainly be an advantage we don’t consider it essential. We’re confident that our intensive and continuing training programs will bring you up to speed quickly.

An aptitude for selling

While SafetyQuip operates a predominantly B2B model we are in the business of providing goods and services to customers - and that involves selling, but the mobile component of the SafetyQuip model allows you to build relationships with customers in the comfort zone of their premises.

Computer literacy

A SafetyQuip franchise is heavily IT driven. We’ve developed a software program to manage all aspects of your business – sales, inventory control, budgets, payroll – so you need to be comfortable using a computer.

A team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude to life

Building a successful business requires hard work and commitment and there will certainly be bumps along the way. If you can maintain an optimistic, positive outlook it will be to your advantage.

An aptitude for learning

Our training program is intense and it’s ongoing. There’s always something new to learn – new ways to improve your skills, expand your knowledge and increase your business advantage - so you need to enjoy learning.

A clean criminal and financial history

Access to sufficient funds
